CALIBRATION & REPAIRS

CAL Services offer a calibration and repair service for most pipe and cable locator product lines. CAL Services fully trained and experienced service engineers offer the highest levels of customer care and deliver an exceptionally high level of service. Using CAL Services for your calibration and service requirements will give you:

• A cost effective solution to your equipment maintenance requirements
• Flexibility - we have a quick turnaround and can offer replacement equipment while your locator is being serviced or repaired
• Our staff have trained and worked with the major market leaders of Cable Locators and have many years experience in caring for these products.
• We know that rigorous calibration and performance testing ensures accuracy and reliability of all equipment and we have a proven record of delivering.

STANDARD SERVICE fixed price includes the following:

• Thorough cleaning of the instrument.
• Bench re-calibration of the instrument to current specifications.
• Replacement of battery pack
• Replacement of speaker (if required).
• Replacement of Potentiometer (if required).
• Full set of new replacement labels.
• Live on-site test to ensure peak performance.
• Repair work fully guaranteed for 3 months.
• 12 month Certificate of Conformity.

STANDARD SERVICE fixed price does not include the following:

• Repairs needed due to unacceptably high levels of misuse or abuse.
• Rework due to attempted repair by any third party.
• Next day AM delivery service. This can be arranged at an extra cost of £9.
• Collection from customers site via carrier. This can be arranged at an extra cost of £10.

Cable Locator & Signal Generator Function Check.

Cal Services recognise that some customers do not require the recommended full service and calibration offered, because they do not use there equipment as safety tools. For these customers we offer a Full Function Check which includes the following:

• Thorough cleaning of the instrument.
• Replacement Battery set.
• Full function check in all operating modes.
• Function check report valid for 12 mths

Please note: Any unit that fails the function check will need to undergo the full service and calibration. Any additional repairs needed will be listed together with a full quote before commencement of work.

*Please Note: CAL Services is not an authorised repair centre for radiodetection products. Nevertheless, we ensure all servicing and calibration procedures are undertaken according to the manufacturers guidelines. A number of our service engineers have had many years experience of radiodetection products and have been involved in the production and assembly of the current utility location product range. So you can rest assured that your equipment has been treated with the quality care it deserves.
